If you were to ask someone to name something notable or cool about Finland, they would probably mention the reindeer. We don’t dispute the reindeer’s importance because, as we all know, no one would get presents on Christmas without their vital participation. But we do think there is one thing that trumps the reindeer in terms of awesomeness -- and that would be Dumle. A.K.A Best. Caramel. Ever. Why? It’s soft and chewy (but won’t rip your fillings out), sweet (but not cloyingly so, like its American counterparts), and covered in milk chocolate. This is the stuff of dreams.
