If you give a child the choice of spending an entire afternoon searching for Easter eggs or breaking them over their friends' heads, they will most likely choose the latter. Easter Cascarones have been a tradition in Mexico for centuries and it is said to bring good luck to have one these confetti-filled eggs broken over your head. For all you young lotharios out there, throwing a cascarone at someone is also a playful way to request the next dance. Oh yeah, and just to clear things up, it hurts less, much less, than waking up with a chocolate hangover.
